Businesses become passionate about branding
Over 50 marketers and students discovered top secrets to successful branding, through innovation and inspiration, at a workshop hosted at Bournemouth University by The Chartered Institute of Marketing on Wednesday evening (18 November 2009).
Key speaker, Andy Parker, business and marketing lecturer at Bournemouth & Poole College, enthralled delegates with his insightful presentation, 'Branding Passion Brands', on how world leading companies such as Coca Cola and Microsoft have created powerful global brands.
John Cornish, chair of The Chartered Institute of Marketing's Dorset branch, explained: 'Andy's subject knowledge was deep and broad and gave marketing and business students a unique understanding of the area. Dorset marketers and business professionals that attended also had a wealth of 'food for thought' for which they can now use to improve their own branding. The event was a great success and provided an invaluable opportunity to gain tips on building a striking brand through strategic marketing approaches.'
